Each year Fabriano, Italy, holds a prestigious international artistic exhibition dedicated to watercolour painting, FabrianoInAcquarello (“Fabriano in Watercolour”). For four weeks in spring, the historic town of Fabriano, birthplace of Fabriano watercolour paper, is transformed into an international art gallery, with exhibitions throughout the town in museums, libraries, opera houses, and churches.

Wayne was one of only fifteen watercolourists from Canada invited to show a piece at FabrianoInAcquarello 2015. He's chosen to send his work pictured here, titled The Meeting: Bagamoyo, Tanzania, which will be on display from April 23 through May 17, if you happen to be in Italy.
